downloading problems

have a friend wanting to play and they claim to have done everything correctly, and when they click to launch they have a "rune time error 429: activeX component cant create object" message appear on their screen. not sure where to direct them or how to help so im posting in hopes somebody knows what in the world i should tell them. i thought it may have been them not downloading both links or whatever but im not there and only going on what they tell me.

commenting to say that i no longer can run old world and i am having the same ''error 429'' message. so i guess this is goodbye, i cant fix it as much as i tried.

just wanted to update and say that worked!!! yay

didn't want to start another thread, was wondering if anyone has tried logging in lately. it says the servers are down so does this mean an update is nigh?
