Redesigning graphics (Again)

I received a lot of criticism from several sources (4chan mainly) that my sprites didn't fit in the game, the other graphics being 2x2 pixels per square, so I need to redesign the player sprite.
I've been having a lot of trouble doing it recently, what kind of sprite do you want? Manga-style or not? tall(32x64) or squared(32x32)?

Ugh it's so damn hard.

Got anything i can draw inspiration from? I don't feel like just ripping graphics as I want the game to be made by me and this community.
